Players of second division St Pauli Hamburg will wear shirts with the slogan "no football for fascists" in their first home match of the year on Friday against leaders RB leipzig. St Pauli said on Wednesday that the shirts are their contribution to Germany-wide events around football games in connection with the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The remembrance day is January 27 but the second division did not resume until last weekend. St Pauli and their fans have a long history of fighting against fascism, racism and discrimination, and have been engaged in helping the large number of migrants and refugees arriving in Germany. | |||||
